  3. Floyd (a lot of people do!)but, this album is NOT Floyd to my ears, it's more "Gilmour" than Floyd! In saying this as an album it's not very good, out of 11 tracks there's probably only a few that are any good & maybe only 1 that is of quality ("Take it Back"). It's got fillers on it in the way of instrumentals now. Mr Gilmour is an excellent /5(K).
  4. This item: The Division Bell ( remaster) Vinyl by Pink Floyd Vinyl $ Only 16 left in stock - order soon. Sold by Gamesville and ships from Amazon Fulfillment/5(K).
  5. This band continues to churn out music, but they're sadly past their prime -- listeners are better served by almost anything Floyd put out before They were one of the great bands of the '70s, breaking new musical ground with a string of fantastic, enduring albums. Sadly, they sound like Bruce Hornsby covering The Joshua Tree on this release.
  6. ‘The Division Bell’ contains 11 tracks including A Great Day For Freedom, Keep Talking (featuring a sampled Stephen Hawking), High Hopes, and Pink Floyd’s only Grammy-awarded track, the instrumental ‘Marooned’. A video for Marooned was made for the 20th Anniversary Immersion release of the album and has now had almost 25 million views.
  7. 'The Division Bell' is Pink Floyd's fourteenth studio album, originally released in March The music was written mostly by David Gilmour and Richard Wright; lyrically, the album deals with themes of communication. Recording took place in several locations, including the band's Britannia Row Studios, and Gilmour's houseboat, Astoria.
  8. The reissues saw the first release of the full album on vinyl as the vinyl release saw only edited versions of the songs to keep it to a single LP. The Division Bell was reissued again with the Pink Floyd Records label on 26 August
  9. Mar 30,  · The Division Bell by Pink Floyd on vinyl is a great way to revisit a classic sound. I have enjoyed listening to this album; however, quality is somewhat lacking as there were several distracting snaps and pops; no fault of BB. Otherwise, I would have rated it 5 stars. Still, I would recommend this record to anyone who loves vinyl/5(9).
